Installers are hosted on GitHub Releases. Installed apps check for updates automatically.

First-time install (unsigned builds)

Early public builds are not code-signed. Your operating system may show a security warning — this is expected.

macOS (Gatekeeper)
  1. Open the downloaded .dmg and drag HydraTree to Applications.
  2. If macOS blocks the app, right-click HydraTree → Open, then confirm.
  3. Alternatively: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway for HydraTree.
Windows (SmartScreen)
  1. Run the downloaded installer.
  2. If SmartScreen appears, click More info.
  3. Click Run anyway to continue.
